ECA JUNIOR U23 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP – BRATISLAVA 2024

It's always special for us to be part of an international competition at home and witness the start for so many young athletes.

Junior and U23 European is the competition for some of the strongest Federations to test their secondary teams, but it's still a very good oportunity for the athletes to taste the feeling of racing internationally.

Some, like Kristina Armstrong, will remember this competition for a long time. She won the U23 individual and double 500 meters and may be the symbol of the new generation of the british women's team.

A strong new team is also growing in Czechia. The winners of the U23 Women K4 Barbora Betlachova, Katerina Zarubova and Adela Hazova had already been bronze last season in the world championship and soon will be facing the big names. All of them left Bratislava with more than one medal.

A very special mention to the top 3 of the U23 Men's K1 1000 Valdemar Jorgensen, Luca Lauper and Hunor Hidvegi.
